We went to Moody Gardens today and wandered around. We found ourselves in the Moody Gardens Aquarium. We were not sure if we were suppose to pay to get in, and there were no good signs to give us any clue, so we just wandered on in past the front desk. The front desk clerk looked at us a bit funny, and one of the employees followed us around, but I think he may have been a bit mentally challenged. We still don’t know if we should have paid to go or if it was a free attraction. Either way, we enjoyed ourselves and there was excitement all around at Feeding Time.

Jelly and Sand

O.K., it really is dead. We walked along the beach this afternoon and saw a few dead jellyfish. We found pieces of sand dollars and a few interesting shells. The skies were sunny, the breeze was gentle, and the temperature was about 60 degrees.

The Strand

This morning we walked past buildings that survived the hurricane of 1900. Restaurants and Bars, Curio and Clothing shops, we took it all in. Bill was delighted to see building of different styles and Misty was delighted to shop. Good news, on the day after Christmas, parking is free, we lucked out!
