We’ve posted before about Going Bedouin, and now Joel Postman of eastwikkers posts this great example:

The convergence in electronic devices, and the increasing financial pressures faced by all traditional media outlets, have resulted in a parallel convergence of skills and responsibilities for the journalist.

Postman acknowledges the benefits of faster filing, more timely reporting, a more coherent finished piece, but worries about the decline in editorial quality. He forgets Linus’ Law — Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow.
