Well, it shouldn’t have happened, but it did. I created a video and then I went to look for the copy I saved on my hard drive and it seemed that I deleted it. How could this be? I’m a computer nerd, that shouldn’t happen to me. So, I thought, I uploaded it to YouTube, surely there is a way to get it off of there. I found it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

Here’s what I had to do:

1. Go to Videodl.org and copy and paste the YouTube video URL into Videodl.org site

2. Download the .flv file

3. Download Riva FLV Encoder.

4. Convert the .flv video to .avi, here are good instructions.

The funny part of this story is after about 45 minutes I got the video to where I could view it again and I saved it to the proper folder this time on my desktop compuer. Then I booted up my laptop and right there on the desktop was the long lost video I had been working so hard to recover!

Sew Unique Themes

Recently, I’ve been working on some website themes for a company called Sew Unique. The picture above shows the four different themes. All of them are liquid except the purple rounded corners theme, and even it shows great on a mobile device. We like our sites: simple, informative, beautiful, and mobile ready. Are you ready for the Design Ninjas to create you a site like this? Give us a call if you are.
