We attempted letting our Red Ear Slider be free today. She swam away and then came back.

Yum! Turtle soup!! (just kidding!) FUNNY!! Wish you had video of him/her resurfacing and coming back into port…yep! I bet it was the cold water, but she/he knew where to come back to….swim around…check it out….water cold…meeso hungry…let’s go home…(Remember that!) Geeze! That could be just about anybody I know!! Well, best give him/her a name. She/he is part of your family, now. And not big enough to eat, anyway!!
