This morning I came across this video of Seth Godin by Nic Askew. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back!
Today I worked on a video tutorial on Video Copilot. It was a lot of fun…..let me know what you think.
Today it snowed in Auburn, CA. It didn’t stick and wasn’t very much, but it was snow.
Today I was searching for birthday ideas for my mom and I came across Olive Garden’s Web Videos. This is exciting to see more and more restaurants getting the idea that you can communicate with the public by means of web videos. They have also setup a YouTube channel, which I think is essential, if you are going to have a video on the Internet, you might as well make it findable. Way to go Olive Garden!
We were pleased today to find that Buffalo Coffee of Mountain Home, Arkansas has setup a MySpace profile and used a video on it that we did nine months ago. Part of the microCHUNK.TV thinking is free the videos. When you offer the embed for others to use that frees the video. The great part about this is other people can spread the message for you. So, check out Buffalo Coffee’s myspace page and add them as a friend. If you are in the Mountain Home area and have not tried their coffee, you should. I’ve never ordered off of the menu. My order goes like this, “Something with a lot of caffeine, a lot of chocolate, and I want it to be sweet!” They served it up great every time I ordered it that way.
Carmine Gallo of Business Week tells how to Deliver a Presentation like Steve Jobs, and via Engadget we get this video example.
Today we went down to the Foresthill Bridge in Auburn, CA and enjoyed the rushing water and the flying birds.
We take a minute to talk about customers’ ugly babies.
Via Boing Boing, this video by Pete Miser shows how your fans can do your marketing for you if you really offer extraordinary products.
