A couple weeks ago, we shot and edited a video for TurnHere, a company that provides video services for companies such as YellowPages.com. You can view the video HERE. We started out with the wrong address and wrong contact person, but the video went live today, and all’s well that ends well!
Today we tested out a few mics on the Canon GL2 Camera.
1. The Canon GL2 Built-in microphone
2. The Azden SGM Shotgun microphone
3. The Sony UWP-C1 Lavalier UHF wireless microphone
The last two microphones are connected through the Beachtek DXA-4P adapter. The Sony seems to have the best audio quality out of the three mics, but I need to do further testing with the Azden to be sure.
Via NewTeeVee, we discovered this YouTube keyword timeline creation tool from Dipity. It’s pretty, I don’t know how useful this is, but it might be nice for tracking fads and fashions.
We were testing out audio capture on a new lavaliere mike, and I just improvised on the focus of http://microchunk.tv/
We bought a new wireless microphone system and were testing it out. Bill asked me to edit a video out of the material we recorded and this is what I came up with. I don’t think it was quite what he had in mind, but I had fun with it.
Today in our front yard, a woodpecker pecked away at a new nest, a hummingbird watched him, and a bluejay chased after the woodpecker’s mate. Via Simeon Simeonov, we get from Devorah Klein from IDEO at the 2008 Nantucket Conference the rationale for failing quickly and cheaply, just like the birds of Spring.
