How I Got Cancer

Jul 19, 2010

How the heck did that happen?

I believe that the human body if given food, exercise, and rest tends to maintain health and is self healing.
I believe that physical, mental, and spiritual factors can predispose, precipitate, and prolong injury and illness.

Physical Predisposition: I re-injured degenerated disks in my spine and did not exercise enough.

Mental Precipitation: My wife and I had basic differences about creating marriage, working together, and raising kids.

Spiritual Prolongation: I failed to nurture my own and my wife’s ability and power of choice.

It took me a while to sort all this out.

Hi, Bill, I had no idea you were dealing with prostate cancer. Don’t know when you were diagnosed or if you had surgery or not. I definitely agree with you about the mental, physical and spiritual factors involved. Being a 24-year survivor of breast cancer myself, mental attitude is really important. I’m hoping you and Misty are working things out. Please keep me posted on your progress.

Hey Leona! Yes, I hadn’t said much about it. Diagnosed last September, won’t be doing surgery or radiation, I’ll post a video in the next couple weeks on how I’m healing it. I’d forgotten about your breast cancer, yes, attitude makes a huge difference. Misty and I do a lot of talking with each other, we’ll see what we can work out. Will keep you posted, and thanks so much for reaching out to me with your comment!

I saw your latest video first and then went back today to your FB page and saw the other videos. Hadn’t realized all that you’ve been through this year. I look forward to more videos to see how you’re doing. Take care.
