A couple Sundays ago we posted Elastic Lab Culture Shoot. It has been viewed just 40 times in the last two weeks on YouTube, but has been viewed 2671 times on Metacafe! TubeMogul says, “At the end of one year, we project that your video will have 9,224 cumulative views. As of today, approximately 28.96% of your annual views have already occurred.”
From this we learn three things:
1. Different video sharing sites have different communities.
2. Post to and track multiple sites.
3. You never know when and where a video will take off.
We just found SubPLY and took advantage of their Special Offer to get free captions for any YouTube video. The button on the lower right of the video player turns the subtitles on and off.
So, you’ve probably figured out I’m the type of girl who likes to take stuff apart to see how it works. In this video I took apart my USB Hard Drive, the ArcDisk 2.0 20 GB hard drive. It wasn’t all I imagined it would be on the inside, but it was still pretty cool.
Here’s a nice example of keeping it simple.
