I started watching The Orgasm Diaries, but 40 minutes in I just wasn’t feeling it. I took a break and ended up thinking about those same old used to be’s. I recalled James Taylor’s song and found this video. Yeah, I used to need 4 walls and a honky tonk angel, but not now.
Over the last two months I’ve watched Hereafter about five times. Not because it’s about people dying, but because it’s about a place where people go to create realities, and that’s what we’re all interested in, isn’t it. Creating our own reality?

I was thinking about Jesus on Good Friday. It seemed to me that he did not die for our sins so that we would not have to die. It seemed to me he set an example of sin dying so that a person could be reborn. Just saying.
Leading up to Easter, I have been thinking about Death lately. There is the small death of drinking alcohol or taking drugs, and the big death of serious chronic illness and passing away. I suppose there is some truth in the old saying — Everybody wants to go to Heaven, but nobody wants to die.
