Our turtle is lonely these days, so lonely she’s making moves on the rock in her tank. Time for the “Birds and the Bees” talk with her, or I guess it would be the “Turtle and the Rock” talk.
We attempted letting our Red Ear Slider be free today. She swam away and then came back.
Our Red Ear Slider Turtle is often attempting escapes. Well, I caught this escape attempt on video.

Repeat verrrrry slowly to renegade turtle: “Turtle SOUP!”
We have a baby red ear slider turtle and today we raised the water level in the tank. Well, since doing that we have noticed her trying to escape over the side. It’s somewhat creepy to look around and see a turtle head peeking over the tank at you!
